Design Inspiration
The Terrace collection began with a question: how can people pause comfortably in public spaces? In open halls, commercial lounges and hotel lobbies, people need room to connect, but also somewhere to slow down and relax. Inspired by the layered contours of natural fields, the designer translated winding ridges and rolling terrain into continuous, gentle curves. Full volumes flow into one another, forming comfortable lounge islands within an open setting. Flexible configurations support group interaction while preserving a sense of personal space, giving everyone a place to connect, unwind or simply enjoy a quiet moment.

A Resting Oasis in the Space
Flowing curves and layered volumes form a lounge island that appears to grow naturally within the space, creating a distinctive yet harmonious focal point in lobbies, atriums and open lounge areas. Without relying on physical partitions, it gently defines places for pausing and interaction, adding depth to an open setting while preserving its visual openness and natural flow. With no fixed front or back, the sofa can be approached and used from every direction, responding naturally to the multiple routes and movement patterns of public spaces. Generous seating and backrests at varied heights accommodate quick pauses, individual relaxation, group conversations and informal collaboration. Different activities can coexist within one setting while each user retains a comfortable degree of personal space.
The backrests are not fixed in one position and can be moved according to the number of users, sitting posture and type of interaction. They provide close support when sitting alone and can be repositioned to reshape the relationship between seats when people gather. Rather than prescribing how the furniture should be used, the design adapts naturally to changing spaces and situations. Built-in weighting keeps the backrest stable and supportive when placed on the sofa. It can also be removed and positioned independently on the floor, offering comfortable support for reading, relaxing or casual floor seating. Free from a fixed position or prescribed posture, it moves easily between workplaces and residential settings, group interaction and time alone, responding naturally to different spaces and ways of living.

Continuous rounded contours soften the visual weight of the large-scale form, while textured upholstery adds a warmer and more approachable feel. Designed to withstand frequent use in commercial environments, the sofa also brings a natural, residential sense of comfort to public spaces, making every pause feel more relaxed and inviting.
