The Vase Lounge Chair's journey to gaining prominence at DESIGN SHENZHEN through its innovative use of AI intelligence is a testament to the transformative power of AI-driven design workflows. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and pushing the boundaries of traditional design methodologies, the designers at Grado embarked on a groundbreaking journey to redefine the concept of a business-style lounge chair, capable of meeting the demands of modern office and public spaces.

The timeline of the Vase Lounge Chair's development showcases the seamless integration of AI-powered design tools into each stage of the creative process. Beginning with the utilization of the Stable Diffusion AI painting tool, the designers set the stage for a revolutionary approach to product design. Through the training of a custom image style model named LoRA, specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements of their project, the designers unlocked the potential of AI to generate sophisticated design concepts that resonated with their vision.

With the integration of the trained LoRA model into Stable Diffusion, the designers were able to explore multiple chair design concepts that aligned closely with their aesthetic preferences, ultimately selecting the most promising solution to pursue further. Rapid prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing, allowed for the quick realization of Al-generated renderings into tangible product prototypes, facilitating a swift and efficient design iteration process.

Refining the internal structure of the chair based on the prototype's performance and feedback further exemplifies the iterative nature of the design process enabled by AI. By adding support structures, optimizing assembly methods, and fine-tuning the chair's functionality, the designers were able to enhance the overall quality and user experience of the Vase Lounge Chair.
