Xinyu Weng was born in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, and graduated from the Communication University of China in 2010 with a degree in German Language and Literature.
He later studied Product Design at Bauhaus University Weimar in Germany.
After showcasing his graduation works in various exhibitions, Weng co-founded YUUE Design Studio with Tao Haiyue in 2015. In 2022, he became a naturalized German citizen.
Weng's design blends traditional methods like hand-drawing and model-making with digital tools such as CAD.
He focuses on exploring the relationship between humans and their creations, drawing inspiration from both his cultural heritage and contemporary Western aesthetics.
